Ice hockey: Wayne starts hot, but Mahwah rallies to earn tie

Wayne not only got one quick start, they actually had two in its key showdown with Mahwah, and it helped set the course for the Knights.

Mahwah fought off those quick strikes and came all the way back for a 3-3 tie at the Ice Vault, with Patrick Larkin’s second goal of the game with 1:39 left capping off the comeback.

Coming off the intermission, Wayne struck just 42 seconds into the second period, with Dean Hulbert picking up the goal.
